Please support Shandy!
Shandy is a sweet, joyful girl. She makes people smile wherever she goes. It is so hard for us to understand how anyone could mistreat such a gentle, happy soul, yet prior to arriving at HSAR, she had been neglected, mistreated, and then abandoned. She was either thrown from a car and/or hit by a car on Rd. A-24 in Sierra Valley. She underwent exploratory surgery on 7/10, but unfortunately the foreign body could not be located. She is recuperating well but has just gone through a second surgery at the cost $3,600.
We are hoping to raise funds to cover the minimum required for her diagnostics, surgery and medications. We will keep you posted as to her progress. In the meantime, please make a donation today to support this lovely gal's care so we can get her on the road to a new life!
Thank you for caring about dogs like Shandy!
Below are updated photos of Shandy with her foster mom! We are all so grateful and happy that she is with a person who loves and cares for her.
