Giving Tuesday at HSAR

This Giving Tuesday, we’re raising funds to upgrade the spaces our dogs rely on most, the kennels they rest in and the yards where they stretch, play and decompress. Our original 20-year-old kennel building and outdoor yards need attention. Time, weather and thousands of paws have taken their toll.

Your support will help us

• reduce noise and stress between kennels
• improve drainage and replace worn turf in the play yards
• repair or replace aging water trough systems
• strengthen fencing and safety features
• refresh kennel interiors to create more comfortable environments

These improvements will enhance each dog’s well-being, minimize unwanted interactions, and make their stay safer and more peaceful while they wait for a home.

We hope to raise over $10,000 to begin these critical upgrades.

If you prefer to avoid online fees, checks may be mailed to HSAR at PO Box 548 Portola CA 96122 with a note directing your gift to our Kennel and Yard Improvement Campaign. You are also always welcome to come visit us and drop your donation off in the office.
