Help us continue our life-saving work!
As we walk past each kennel in our shelter we are greeted by the wonderful dogs who will all eventually find loving, forever homes and we wonder…
- What would happen to them if High Sierra Animal Rescue (HSAR) were no longer here?
- What would happen to our community's no-kill status for adoptable dogs if HSAR was no longer rescuing them from the county shelter?
We want to do everything possible to make sure we are never confronted with this problem, but we desperately need your help!
We are a no-kill rescue committed to saving homeless pets and advancing pet welfare. Since 1999 we have saved the lives of over 4,000 animals, and with your support, our work will continue for years to come. We receive no state or federal funding. All of our shelter, medical, and adoption expenses are covered by gifts from members of the public like you. Please give today to save lives.
We currently rescue homeless dogs that can no longer be held at the county shelters in Quincy and Susanville. We strive to find loving, caring, "forever" homes for the dogs and you can help. Please make a donation today, and consider becoming a Guardian of High Sierra Animal Rescue with a recurring monthly donation in any amount. You may cancel at any time.
