We’re raising funds for his cancer surgery so he can finally go home.
Rescue is full of beautiful highs… and sometimes, incredibly hard moments that follow close behind. Rocky was adopted from us a few years ago and found his perfect person. Their days were filled with love, routine, and his favorite thing in the world… long walks together.
A few months ago, Rocky lost everything when his person passed away. He came back to us grieving, confused, and missing the life he knew.
We promised him we would find that kind of love for him again.
And we did.
Just as his foster-to-adopt mom was ready to make things official, she found two concerning lumps.
After a vet visit, we got the news… cancerous mast cell tumors.
The good news is that it has not spread and surgery gives Rocky a real chance at more happy, healthy years and the home he’s so close to having again.
Now we need to get him there.
Rocky’s surgery is estimated to cost $2,000–$2,500, and we’re asking our community to rally around him.
